Team Projects
Team Assignments:
Attached you will find a roster of teams. These teams have been selected to include members from different areas within ORC and across the University. This is a great opportunity to network with people you may not typically work with and benefit from different backgrounds and perspectives. Please contact your team members as soon as possible to determine potential project topics.
Project Topics:
It is very important that, as a team, you select two (2) topics of interest for your project using the criteria below. Your final project topic will be selected by the SPaRKS committee and a mentor will be assigned to support your group as needed.
Project Topic Criteria:
Project topic should:
1. be relevant to research administration
2. serve the purpose of furthering the research mission at UCF
For example, projects topics that address improvement to research-related processes or administrative functions (customer service, process efficiency, communication, etc.) that would benefit the UCF research community are preferred. Note that if your topic is too broad, it may be difficult to develop a focused problem statement and targeted recommendations.
Project Topic Submission:
Designate one team member to send an email to Doshie Walker at doshie.walker@ucf.edu (with a cc: to Laurianne Torres at laurianne.torres@ucf.edu) with the following information no later than Monday, May 23.
1. Project Topic (Project Title)
2. Problem Statement (description of the topic or problem being addressed)
3. Key Stakeholders (who will benefit from the implementation)
4. Proposed solution(s)
